Favourite item of clothing A beautiful 1920s hand-sewn dress with intricate beading and lots of petticoats, which I bought 30 years ago from a vintage shop in south London.

I paid £40 for it and I've worn it many times, so it was a bargain. I got married in a white silk brocade dress that I found in an antiques shop in Glasgow for £3 in the 1970s.

The dress was designed by an eccentric ex-couturier seamstress in France who made one-offs to sell in her little shop. Keith gave one to me for my birthday and I loved it, and since then he has bought me lots more.

When June sketched me, suddenly her face looked stern, her eyes were piercing, and she started drawing very quickly. They are significant for me because I believe that as a mother you must love and nurture your child from the time they are in your tummy, and when they come out you must show them that they are a gift to the world.

Among the 647 series regulars counted this year across 91 scripted television programs on the five broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, The CW, Fox and NBC), 19 are LGBT, which is a decrease from last year's 23.

Fox is the most diverse network this year in terms of series regular LGBT characters (6.8%), with eight out of 117 series regulars being lesbian, gay or bisexual.

The analysis of characters for the 2011-2012 television schedule found that 2.9% of series regulars are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT), down from 3.9% in 2010 and 3% in 2009.

However, this is still a better figure than 2.6% in 2008 and 1.1% in 2007.

I had no intention of getting married at the time, I just loved the dress.
